NorthStar worked with Willis Towers Watson’s Corporate Real Estate Department as internal project managers by augmenting and complementing their staff on both their domestic and international projects. The arrangement allowed the Willis Towers Watson associates throughout the world to focus on the more strategic, big-picture initiatives as NorthStar handled the everyday owners representation work, including restacks, renovations, and relocations for over 10 years.
The initial project with this client involved their Philadelphia headquarters and included a reduction of 235,000 SF, a complete renovation/restack encompassing 11 floors totaling 255,000 SF, the decommissioning of 2 floors (42,000 SF) and the movement of 1,500 employees within the location. The relocation was completed on-time, allowing complete decommissioning and turnover of the origin spaces.
