Site analysis, due diligence, coordination with both Philadelphia Regional Port Authority and Philadelphia Street Departments and construction oversight were critical aspects of this new 686,000 produce market project (the largest in the world) funded in part with State monies. This state-of-the-art facility was designed to maintain the cold chain from farm to table. As PRPTM’s Owner’s Representative working to protect their interests, NorthStar discovered that the design and construction team were not complying with the Basis of Design for this new facility and took corrective action to keep the project on track.
