Improving Facilities for Enhanced Care

Tower Health
  • Reading, PA
  • 90,000+ SF
Tower Health was preparing to renovate their existing facilities in Reading, PA enhancing their care for patients. NorthStar came on board to provide services including construction administration and management, accounting and cost control, relocation management, and project closeout. These services were vital for the completion of the following projects:
Bariatric Center
  • Reading, PA.
  • SF 20,000
Reading Health sought to relocate their weight management practice to a new, 20,000 SF space to better serve their patients. The unique project called for not only a full-service demonstration kitchen and work-out area, but customized furniture and fixtures throughout the space including doors, waiting room and patient side chairs, exam tables, and patient lifts. With the patient’s comfort and needs firmly in mind, we were able to navigate and overcome the project’s challenges. As with many projects, this one encountered common obstacle including delays due to weather – challenges which NorthStar remedied for a timely project delivery. By developing FF&E Programming, creating, and maintaining the budget and schedule, and managing the relocation process, our team was ultimately able to help Tower Health’s patients receive the care they deserve for a greater quality of life.
Reading Hospital
  • Reading, PA.
  • 70,000 SF
This project entailed the construction and fit-out of an approximately 70,000 SF new office building. The building is part of a multi-million-dollar redevelopment project occurring at the Vanity Fair Outlet Center in Wyomissing, PA, which will transform the 34-acre site into a mixed-use office and retail campus. The project will be designed as Core/Shell and Tenant Improvements and will include building renovations, a new main entrance, refurbished and new toilet room facilities, and minor site modifications. All existing interior improvements – including offices, conferences rooms, partitions, flooring, and ceiling finishes – will be demolished as necessary to accommodate future tenant fit out requirements. The core and shell improvements and the tenant interior improvements are being constructed simultaneously.
