And the New Office Makes Three

For this project – the 3rd that NorthStar has completed for this long-standing client – our team was involved in site selection (599 Lexington was ultimately chosen), lease negotiation, and contractor bidding and selection. The project included the installation of a new mechanical system, lighting, AC system, and furniture for the company’s Principals. The key to the new office was the introduction of a new IT system and equipment room. NorthStar’s role in the project included oversight of the budget, the project’s tight schedule, cost, change orders, and overseas imports.

For the majority of the new office space, Peconic Partners chose to modify their existing furniture in an effort to save time and money. Financial efforts were put more towards glass partitions imported from Italy which gave the space an open and contemporary feel, as did the carefully curated art collection.

The NorthStar team successfully coordinated the modifications, which involved furniture cutting, purchasing new pieces for the modified furniture, refinishing, and fabricating.
